Sometimes it’s easy for me to take for granted what a beautiful place we live. Within a 30 minute drive of our home in Tallahassee, we can explore along the water at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. After living and photographing in New York, I can sometimes feel disappointment about living in my hometown again. But, all it takes is a 30-60 minute drive out of town to remind myself I live in a truly magnificent place.

A big reason I take on a limited number of photography clients, aside from being able to better care for the clients I do have the opportunity to work with, is to guilt free enjoy weekend days with my family. I have no fear in admitting this to the clients I work with because they completely get it.
