I slow down to take in the little glances, the smiles of pride, the playful laughter, the tears of joy, the soft touches, and all the moments in between.
Something that always drew me to New York, which led to my husband’s eventual love and us building our lives together in Brooklyn, is the juxtaposition of the new with the old. A beautiful balance of classic architecture, soulful history, and new beginnings with modern style.
That’s what draws me to weddings, as well. Your family traditions, each family history, blending together into a beautiful new story. Each wedding a new blend of old and new coming together in a way never seen before. Many weddings may have peonies and ranunculus, you may have friends married in your venue before, and a classic Frank Sinatra first dance may not seem “original”, but..
There is no wedding like the other, they are each unique to them selves, and their stories deserve to be told as such.
