A Sunny Engagement Session on St. George Island | Tallahassee Wedding Photographer
I moved to Tallahassee in the second grade. The very next morning after moving into my new home, my parents took us to the new church my dad would be working at. When I was taken to my new Sunday School class as sweet little bubbly brunette was there to greet me because she heard a new girl would be coming- that bubbly brunette was Stephanie. And now, over 15 years later we have over a decade worth of memories and stories together. While I won’t be photographing Stephanie’s wedding to simply be a guest a celebrate a dear old friend, it was an absolute honor when she asked me to photograph their engagement photos.
On a warm September day, Stephanie, Jordan, and I loaded in Jordan’s truck to head out of Tallahassee down to St. George Island. We drove down to the end of the Island to the Cut at St. George Island to laugh, dance, talk, and relax along the rocky inlet. This is one of my absolute favorite locations to photograph anyone and anything, so you’ll see it frequently in my work. But, it won’t look the same every time you see it. And that’s the beauty of it. Any time I photograph a wedding on St. George I like to make time to take the couple to this spot- it’s calming and special.
Thankfully Stephanie and Jordan loved the location on St. George Island as much as I do- it was worth the drive away from Tallahassee.
I can’t wait to celebrate at Stephanie and Jordan’s wedding just outside of Tallahassee next year.
