Spring In Full Bloom- A Goodwood Museum and Gardens Wedding- Tallahassee, FL Wedding Photographer
A Goodwood Museum and Gardens wedding is always beautiful- but a Goodwood wedding in the spring? There’s a special kind of magic in photographing a gorgeous spring day. The combination of lush blooms, iconic historic buildings, and mossy live oaks make it clear why Goodwood is one of the top Tallahassee wedding venues. It is always a favorite to photograph.
Francie & Bryan both grew up in Tallahassee, and Goodwood encompassed all of the natural beauty they love about their hometown- making it the perfect venue for their wedding. The day started with warm greeting and genuine excitement for the day ahead- there’s nothing better than walking in to a bride who’s just ready to marry her groom and not sweat the small things. I hadn’t seen Francie and Bryan since their engagement session at St. Andrew’s State Park in Panama City- the most fun beach engagement session- yet they welcomed me and my team in to their day like family. Their calm, laidback, joyful demeanor combined with their trust in me to capture the moments (aka they weren’t sweating the small things) and find the best light led to one of my favorite days of “work” I’ve had in a while. After the year of 2020, this wedding was a breath of fresh air.
After Francie and Bryan ate dinner, had a second to relax, and Francie changed her dress- we snuck out for additional bride and groom portraits while their guests enjoyed dinner and time together. I loved their trust in me to respect their time with the people they love and want to celebrate with while also making sure they receive beautiful photos in an environment they’re comfortable in.
I hope you enjoy Francie & Bryan’s Goodwood Museum and Gardens wedding photos as much as they do:
